Transition 2024

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are delighted that your child will be joining us at The Green School for Boys in September 2024.

We would like to invite you to the Year 6 into 7 Parent/Carer Information Evening to provide you with information about the transition process from primary school to The Green School for Boys. This event will take place during the evening of Thursday 23rd May from 6pm to 7pm.

The purpose of the Year 6 into 7 Parent/Carer Information Evening is to provide an overview of school life and provide more information on the following:

• Key Transition Dates

• Teaching and Learning

• The School Code of Conduct

• Safeguarding

• Communication with parents, including our App Arbor

• Uniform

The information evening will also give you an opportunity to ask any questions about your child’s transition to Secondary School.

Our uniform providers are Stevensons, who will be represented on the evening, however we would ask that you do not purchase the school jumper for your child until you are informed which Form Group/House your child has been allocated to, as the colour of the stripe around the neck of the school jumper relates to the appropriate House colour.

Important dates for your diary

Transition evening - 6 to 7pm - Thursday 23rd May 2024

Doors will open at 5.30pm so the evening can begin promptly at 6pm  if you are going to attend the Transition evening please complete this Google Form.

Please note, there is no parking on site.

Induction Day – Tuesday 2nd July 2024

An opportunity for your son to get to know the school, his peers and his teachers.  More information will be provided at the Transition evening.
