Mrs Sally Yarrow, Executive Headteacher of The Green School Trust.  

Mrs Yarrow was appointed as Headteacher of The Green School for Girls in January 2015 before taking up her current role as Executive Headteacher of The Green School Trust.  She is responsible for overseeing the success of The Green School for Boys and The Green School for Girls. Prior to this Mrs Yarrow was Deputy Headteacher at St Marylebone Church of England School.

 

Mr Simon Carter, Head of School

Mr Carter is responsible for the day-to-day running of The Green School for Boys.  Prior to taking up his post he was Deputy Headteacher at Villiers High School in Southall. He has a range of experience having taught in 6 schools previously, including at Acton High and at Twyford Church of England School. He is committed to boys’ education and is our Designated Safeguarding Lead.

 

Mr Alex Topp, Assistant Headteacher

Mr Topp is responsible for learning and progress at Key Stage 3.  He works with the teams in Y7,8 and 9 to help the boys transition to TGSB and to ensure that they are given a strong academic and pastoral foundation on which to build. Prior to taking up his post he was an experienced Head of Year at The Green School for Girls and is  Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.

 

Mr Yuvraj Nirwal, Assistant Headteacher: Teaching & Learning, Assessment & Progress

Mr Nirwal is responsible for the development of teaching and learning across the school, working with staff to ensure that we are constantly developing our practice. Prior to taking up his post he was a Key Stage Coordinator at a local independent school and is a maths specialist working with the Secondary Maths Hub to help develop high quality maths teachers.

 

Mrs Kari Sargent, Assistant Headteacher Key Stage 4

Mrs Sargent is responsible for learning and progress at Key Stage 4.  She works closely with the Year Teams to ensure that the boys are fully supported through the GCSE years, in order to ensure they get the best possible outcomes.  Prior to taking up this post she was an experienced Head of Year in Greenwich and is Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.

 

Mr Pete Banks, Assistant Headteacher: Student Development & Operations

Mr Banks is responsible for the school’s extensive co-curricular programme and ensuring that the boys are given full opportunity to reach beyond their grasp. Prior to taking up his post he was Head of the Performing Arts and PE faculty at The Green School for Girls.  Mr Banks is a very experienced PE teacher who is committed to inclusive sports provision for the boys.
